Dr Indranil Mukherjee-Director
Dr Mukherjee obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Physics from Jadavpur University and was awarded the University gold medals on both occasions. He obtained his Ph.D from Jadavpur University working with CSIR fellowship in the area of Nonlinear Integrable Systems. His current research interests are in non-linear dynamics, chaos and complex systems and their applications in different areas of natural, biological and social sciences as well as mathematical and statistical analysis of datasets. He has published around forty papers in international journals, authored ten book chapters and has one patent filed to his credit. Two students have completed their Ph.D working under his joint supervision; one student has submitted his Ph.D thesis, while another student is doing her Ph. D. He has completed research projects funded by UGC (as PI), IUC-DAE (as co-PI), and BARC (as co-PI). He is currently the Director of the MHRD funded project under the FAST scheme “Centre of Excellence in Environmental Technology and Management”, which has been extended till 2020 by MHRD. Dr Mukherjee has around twenty years of professional experience including working in software industry, teaching, training and research. He is also actively involved in the ongoing academic and administrative reform processes initiated in MAKAUT in the fields of teaching-learning, evaluation, placement and entrepreneurship.
Subrata Ghosh Obtained his B.Com from Calcutta University and MBA with specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing Management from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal. Apart from Human Resource Management and Marketing Management, he is having rich teaching experience in various management subjects like Entrepreneurship Development, Supply Chain Management, ERP etc. He attended many National and International academic conferences in India and abroad as an invited speaker. Few of his articles have been published in some eminent academic journals.
Mr. Surajit Malakar
Mr. Malakar Passed B.Com from University of Calcutta, completed Inter from Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Finance and Marketing from University of Kalyani. He is having around 20 years of working experience in industry as well as in teaching in various educational institutions and universities in India and abroad in the areas of Finance, Accounts, Internal Audit, Management, Operations, and Port Folio Management. He has done research activities and Consultancy in the areas of Finance and Audit. Some of his articles published in different Journals.
Dr. Sushil Kumar Pareek
Dr. Sushil Kumar Pareek obtained PhD, MBA, LLB and PGD in Marketing. He has been serving as Professor in the School of Management Science at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. He has over 16 years of teaching experience in different colleges in India and served GCBS, Royal University of Bhutan deputation by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India under CPL and has served in different capacities such as Head of Department, Officer In-Charge of Examination cell, Paper setter, Examiner and University Station Supervisor. He was associated with MSMS (Govt. of India) as Visiting Faculty.He teaches Marketing and General Management at the under-graduate and post graduate levels and has published numerous research papers in national and international journals. He has attended several FDP from IIT-KGP, Griffith University Australia and Royal University of Bhutan. His research interest is Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
Smt. Sarani Bhaumik, Faculty of Tourism and Travel
Sarani Bhaumik obtained M.Phil ( Eco Tourism ), MBA (Tourism), MA (Modern History), BA (Tourism), BA (History). She is having around 12 years of working experience in industry as well as in academics in various educational institutions and universities in India in the areas of Tourism Management, Event Management, Marketing Management and Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Transport Management, Public Relation. She has also done several other professional courses like Diploma in Training & Development, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Research In Management (practical training on statistical packages for management research), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration and Supervision, Post Graduate Diploma in International Business and Operations, Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, Post Graduate Diploma in Event Management and Promotions, Diploma in IATA/UFTAA Foundation and EBT Course, Enter the world of Amadeus (ETWA-AMA), Enter the world of Automated Ticketing (ETWAT-AMA), Certificate in Information Technology Application & Pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Instructional Design. Smt. Sayantani Ray, Faculty of Hospital Management
Mrs Sayantani Ray has completed her bachelors in BBA Hospital management and masters MHA ( Masters in hospital Management ) from West Bengal University of technology( now known as MAKAUT).She is presently research scholar in SEACOMM SKILLS UNIVERSITY doing her PHD in Healthcare Quality management. Mrs Ray has a Industrial experience of 5 years working in eminent Hospitals like AMRI, COLUMBIA ASIA Hospital, PEERLESS Hospital, Dr.Pauls Multispecialty Clinic in managerial positions. She also has 2 years Teaching experience in PAILAN college of management and technology in the department of Hospital administration. She attended many National and International academic conferences in India and abroad as an invited speaker namely the MELECON NEPAL and INPALMS Bangladesh. Research interests are in healthcare quality and Patient satisfaction model innovation.

Prof. Subrata Kumar Ray, Adjunct Professor
Subrata Kumar Ray, LLM, DIRPM, FCS is having around 40 years of experience in corporate sector in Personnel, legal, commercial, internal audit, company secretarial, CSR and other corporate affairs. He is former General Manager (CSR) and Company Secretary of a Govt. of India company...Besides contributing many articles in legal and corporate matters in all India level reputed journals, Shri is an academic resource person of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Institute of Cost Accountants and Institute of Company Secretaries. He has presented papers in few universities and institutions. He has been visiting faculty in around 20 B schools, for last 20 years, including IIM, Kolkata, IIM, Shillong, IIFT, and Kolkata. Presently he is visiting faculty of MDI, Murshidabad and other business schools.
Shri J. P. Shaw is former Deputy Director General/Regional Director, Ministry of Tourism Government of India. He began his career in the Ministry of Tourism way back in 1984 after his Graduation and Post-Graduation in History from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. With almost over three decades of experience in the Ministry of Tourism, Shri Shaw had served in various capacities in the Ministry both within India and overseas. His prominent postings in India includes as DDG HQ, as Regional Director India Tourism New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. He is also visiting faculty at various college/institutions for travel, tourism and hospitality related subjects. He is also a member of the Academy – Industry Interface CELL, Netaji Subhas Open University, Kolkata under the School of Vocational Studies, to identify, suggest and recommend the possible linkage, collaboration between the university and the industry for the benefit of the students of NSOU and the society at large. He has also done several other professional courses like Tourism Marketing Management, International Marketing, Export Management, and attended trainings in E-Governance Technology and Management, Financial Management, workshop on Results Based Management Framework and RTI for CPIOs.
