About Dr. Manik Chandra Das

Dr. Manik Chandra Das received the Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bengal Engineering College (DU), Shibpur, Howrah, India, in 2000. He finished his Master Degree in Manufacturing Technology at National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, Kolkata, India in 2007. He did his Ph.D. in Production Engineering Department, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in 2014. He published papers in Socio Economic Planning Sciences, Optics and Laser Technology, Benchmarking: An International Journal, International Journal of Multicriteria Decision Making, Opsearch and in other journals of repute.

Dr. Das is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). Prior to joining MAKAUT, he served MCKV Institute of Engineering for 17years. He worked industry for 3years. His research interests include development and applications of multiple criteria decision making tools, production and operations management, optimization etc.
