Therefore, it is vital to society's formation and maintenance. In several ways, ‘Economics’ can be defined- as the study of scarcity, how people use resources and respond to incentives or the study of decision-making. The Department of Applied Economics is intended to offer a variety of academic courses at different levels. With the objective of enhancing the thought process in the area of Economics, the department is committed to developing innovative ideas through the teaching-learning process & research activities. To achieve a cutting-edge state in the domain of Economics by designing some applications-based, diverse, cooperative, inspiring, and encouraging environment that will create professionals with social and ethical consciousness along with the proficiency to face the new challenges in the field of Economics.
